Area 51 Tour

Area 51 Tour

The allure of Area 51 has drawn people from all over the world since 1947. In July of that year, an alleged UFO crash in Roswell was the start of what would become one of the most famous and mysterious events in history. From that moment Area 51 was thrown into the spotlight and has since become one of the most visited tourist destinations in America . Area 51 is also known as Groom Lake , Paradise Ranch and simply The Ranch and for decades its mere existence was emphatically denied by the U.S. government. What exactly goes on inside this top-secret facility is unknown and access is highly restricted.

The Area 51 Tour will begin with a drive through the beautiful Las Vegas landscape. The first stop will offer guests a chance to study ancient Indian petroglyphs that are said to resemble alien beings. Up next is the Little A’le’ Inn , a combination restaurant, bar, UFO museum and gift shop. Here you’ll enjoy learning more about Area 51 and its history and have the opportunity to pick up a few souvenirs. Guests will also be treated to an out-of-this-world lunch experience with their world famous Alien Burgers.

After lunch guests will head to Area 51 for a peek into this exciting and mystifying place. The short drive will take you past the well-known “Black Mailbox,” through an eerie looking Joshua tree forest, and then on to the actual perimeter of Area 51. The signs are less than welcoming with warnings such as “The Use of Deadly Force Authorized,” and the menacing armed guards perched on the hills in their 4x4’s do not appear to be the most gracious of hosts. If you’re lucky, you may even find yourself under the watchful eye of the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter which often patrols the perimeter.

The last leg of your trip will include a visit to various remote areas surrounding Area 51 and a peculiar dry lake bed where recent UFO sightings have taken place. You’ll also find more ancient Indian petroglyphs resembling aliens here.

You don’t have to be a believer in the supernatural or in UFO’s to enjoy this amazing tour. History buffs will love learning about the intriguing history of the area and those looking for a unique experience to “write home about” will certainly not be disappointed.
