Pink flamingos, penguins, swans, and ducks adorn the Flamingo Hilton's Wildlife Habitat, the central garden oasis of this popular resort on the Las Vegas Strip. The Habitat features a peaceful setting, complete with waterfalls, winding paths, and lots of benches where tired sightseers and gamblers can sit and relax.
The Habitat houses over 300 birds, including a flock of signature Chilean flamingos. Other inhabitants include Impeyn and silver pheasants, Gambel's quail, two ibis, and a host of parrots, swans, and ducks. The ponds and streams are populated with a liberal sampling of koi and turtles.
Admission to the Flamingo Wildlife Habitat, located just off of the resort's pool area, is free. The attraction is open 24 hours a day and is accessible to visitors who use a wheelchair. Feeding times are 830:am and 3:pm.
