Four Queens Casino & Hotel has a rich history, beginning in November 1964, as the hotel and casino’s builder decided to name the property after all four of his daughters, dubbing it Four Queens. Although Four Queens began as a rather diminutive property by today’s standards (with only 120 rooms and 20,000 square feet of casino area), throughout the past 40 years, the Four Queens has expanded and improved upon all aspects of the property.
The first additions were made in 1976 with an additional 12,000 square feet of gaming space added to the casino, plus new, trend-setting décor. The following year, more space was added to the casino; the final casino addition was made in 1981. Today, Four Queens Casino occupies an entire block of Fremont Street ! Also in 1981, Four Queens unveiled a 400-room addition in the form of a tower with 18 floors – bringing the grand total of guest rooms to over 685. |
