Wallace is an amazing comedian who plays off of the mood of the audience, and connects on a basic level as he brings humor to everyday situations, and as he finds hilarity in modern life. He is a master of timing, always serving up the right words at exactly the right moment, for maximum effect.

The show is divided into two distinct portions, with the first half being played by Wallace as a simple “chat” with the audience. He pounces with catlike reflexes on anything and everything that pops up – including people talking on cell phones during the show, those walking in late, and unusual guffaws that arise from the theatre seats. Show-goers learn quickly that while Wallace holds no one and nothing sacred, his comedy is never mis-directed or inappropriate.

The second half of the show relies on scripted material; and, although this part of the act is somewhat pre-determined, it also provides the show’s most unfailing, unending runs of laughter. Wallace has been in comedy for his entire lifetime it seems, beginning as a writer for The Redd Foxx Show and then exploding into stand-up fame when he emerged as the crowned king of comedy, after a stand-off between 150 contestants on cable TV’s The Big Laff Off. Wallace has also starred in his own HBO Show, has been featured in numerous motion pictures, and has made lots of TV appearances on show such as The Tonight Show, Oprah, Late Night with David Letterman and many others.
