Some of the stars who have been represented in the show are Elvis Presley, Shania Twain, John Lennon, Marilyn Monroe, Cher, Elton John, Michael Jackson, the Righteous Brothers, Janet Jackson, Rod Stewart, Gloria Estefan, Madonna, The Beatles, Liberace, ABBA Gold, Nat King Cole, Ricky Martin, Dolly Parton, The Blues Brothers, and Garth Brooks. While the personality of each celebrity is brought to life through all visual details, the musical genius is re-created through both voice and musical instruments. For each different act and impersonation, the stage evolves to re-create the appropriate feel and look: the lights, colors, back-up singers and musicians, and special effects change to bring a spot-on representation of whichever celebrity is being impersonated. “Elvis” comes onstage with appropriate ‘50s-style back-up singers; “Prince” wears his traditional funky outfits; and “Celine Dion” brings her powerful voice and stage presence just like it is really her. What’s more, the headliners change every few months, so the show is never the same twice.
While Legends in Concert has delighted audiences all over the world, the show’s permanent home is right on The Strip, at the famous Imperial Palace . In addition to the star-studded cast of performers, the show also includes a bevy of dancers, and The Terry Ryan Orchestra provides even more depth to the effect of the Legends show.
