First you have the mother. Then you have the daughter – or “bride to be.” Plus you have 3 fathers. Throw in a wedding you and you’ve got one heck of a story.

Situated on a Greek Island paradise, the bride has her mind set on uncovering the identity of her father. She reads her mother’s diary and uncovers three possibilities. She then invites all three men from her mother’s past to return to the place they visited some 20 years ago in the hopes of discovering which one is her father.

While the story in and of itself is fun and entertaining, the show offers another unique twist: the musical numbers are all from the hit singing group, ABBA. If you are (or were) a fan of ABBA, then you’ll be thrilled to hear 22 of ABBA’s greatest hits including: Dancing Queen; The Winner Takes It All; Take A Chance On Me; Knowing Me, Knowing You; Money, Money, Money; Super Trouper; I Have A Dream; Thank You For The Music; Chiquitta; I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do; Does Your Mother Know; and Gimme!Gimme!Gimme! Even if you’re not familiar with ABBA, you’ll find that the songs and the storyline are exceptional.

This show features love, laughter, friendship, and an experience that brings the cast members into the audience singing and dancing. The casts enthusiastic energy is carried into the audience, leaving you wanting to get up and sing and dance throughout the entire production (but please refrain from doing so!). The singing is complimented by great costuming, spectacular lighting, and amazing music.

Mama Mia was created by 2 original members of the group, ABBA - Benny Andersson and Bjorn Ulvaeus – the “B’s” in the group’s name.
