It's Carnivale seven times a day at the 2500-room Rio All-Suites Hotel Casino, just off of the Strip in Las Vegas. The mega-resort's shopping arcade, "Masquerade Village," is home to a festive, fanciful, and fun parade of elaborate floats, suspended from the ceiling, complete with mimes, costumed dancers, showgirls, masked acrobats, and, of course, exuberant South American music. You'll see Pegasus, unicorns, Brazilian dancers, and more. If you're lucky, you'll get some beads from the performers. They are rumored to be lucky.
The "Masquerade in the Sky" parade takes place daily at 3pm, 4pm, 5pm, 6:30pm, 7:30pm, 8:30pm, and 9:30pm. The festivities are free to the public, so don't miss it. Visitors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. |
