The Oasis Resort Casino Golf & Spa opened in 1985. However, decades ago when Mesquite was a diminutive desert town, the property was known as The Western Village Motel. After Interstate 15 was built in the 1970s, the Western Village Motel became the Peppermill Hotel and Casino. Then, 15 years later, the property became the Oasis Resort as it still is today.
Oasis Resort Casino Golf & Spa has 950 guest rooms and 19 suites featuring views of the mountains or the swimming pool. All rooms have been recently remodelled, and feature either one king sized bed or two queen sized beds. Room and suite amenities include air conditioning, Jacuzzi tub, refrigerator, hair dryer, internet access, wake-up calls, housekeeping and television. Non-smoking rooms are available. Iron and ironing board available on request. Deluxe rooms are 312-square feet and feature colourful accents and pastel bedding. The Oasis also has an RV park that allows full access to all hotel amenities. There are 91 RV spaces
The Oasis casino is open 24 hours a day and provides plenty of gaming, including numerous table games and slots. Oasis Resort Casino Golf & Spa features over 5,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Oasis provides audio-visual equipment and technical assistance, as well as catering services.

Also located at the Oasis is the Ranch and Gun Club, with over 1,000 acres of wide open land available for fishing, skeet and clay pigeon shooting, horseback riding and hiking. There are also 54 holes of golf at the Oasis.
