Surrounded by the picturesque Spring Mountains, Siena Golf Club offers an experience reminiscent of the Italian renaissance period. Designed by Brian Curley and Lee Schmidt, every hole has an Italian name and most feature natural rock outcroppings, palm trees, strategic bunkering, and unmatched views. While the goal of the course design was to make it fun, golfers will also indulge in a challenging round of golf. The variety of doglegs and straightaway holes allow players to utilize most of their clubs. The course plays 6,843 yards from the back set of five tees in which water features come into play on six holes. All four of the par 3s are less than 200 yards while seven of the par 4s measure 400 to 450 yards. The four par 5s are short to medium and the longest is the 563-yard 8th hole.
The first hole is a 420 yard par-4. It plays to a large fairway, but greenside bunkers right and water left poses a challenge to players. The intimidating 159-yard, par-3 5th hole plays to an island green further guarded by bunkers on each side. The par 4, 420-yard 9th hole, affectionately known as Della Pantera, is regarded as one of the most beautiful holes in Nevada . You can see the Spring Mountains reflecting in Lake Siena from an elevated tee box. Water flows down the left side of the hole to the green where it spills from a cascading waterfall. The 323-yard, par 4 16th is a demanding hole even for an accomplished golfer. Bunkers right punish hesitant fairway-metal or long-iron off the tee while strategically placed bunkers left punish overachieving tee shots. The par 4, 400-yard 18 th is a great hole to finish a game. A semi-blind tee shot plays to a narrow fairway that opens up to the undulated green guarded on the right by the start of Lake Siena .
The 13,500-square-foot Siena Golf Club is comprised of a fully-equipped pro golf shop, men and women’s locker rooms, multi-tiered practice facility, and the Siena Bistro.
The Siena Bistro is a 2,500 square feet Italian-themed restaurant and bar. Executive Chef, Dan Concepcion, brings five years of culinary experience to the festive venue. Siena welcomes groups of 16 to 288 people to play at the course known throughout Nevada for its natural beauty and challenging layout. Tournament packages include green and golf car fees, unlimited practice balls prior to the event, scorecards with printed guests' names, golf car signs, hole assignments, player pairings, score boards and final tournament results, set of prize holes (i.e. closest to the pin, longest drive), full service catering, and club rentals.
