Located just minutes from the exciting Las Vegas Strip, Tuscany Golf Club opened its doors for five-star golfing in July 2006. Rammed earth walls, wine barrel signage, and tee boxes named Champagne , Merlot, and Chardonnay are all part of the romantic Tuscany wine theme. The centerpiece of Tuscany Golf Club will be the spacious 31,000 square feet Olde World Tuscan Village . Set to open in mid 2007, golfers and visitors alike will have exclusive access to a golf retail store, a pub, a fine dining restaurant, and banquet and meeting facilities. The 9,000 square foot patio will feature panoramic views of the lush golf course, surrounding picturesque mountains, and the famed Las Vegas Strip.
The traditional layout with broad fairways, sizeable rolling greens, and 68 white sand bunkers was designed by renowned golf course architect Ted Robinson. The average pace of play is approximately four hours.
Golfers are encouraged to visit the Tuscany practice facility to improve their golfing game. The large grass and mat tee provides players six target tees to use to warm up or practice before their day begins. There’s also a short game area to work on chipping and a practice green for putting. The driving range is open daily 30 minutes prior to the first tee time and closes 30 minutes before sunset. Tuscany ’s staff of PGA certified teaching professionals are available to assist with private or group instruction. Lesson rates range from $50 for a half hour to $75 for one hour. Nine hole playing lessons are $125 while group rates for three or more students are $30 per person/hour. Students under the age of 16 are half price. Package deals and transition lessons are also available. Golfers can also stop by the practice facility for a free five minute video swing check.
The 1,000 square foot Tuscany golf shop is a shopping haven for golfers. Here, visitors will find the latest sportswear, name brand merchandise, and top notch professional golfing equipment. Men and ladies clothing lines include Ashworth, EP Pro, Marbas, Oakley, Cutter & Buck, Titleist, Maxfli, Adidas, FootJoy, Ben Hogan, and Ping.
The Tuscany Café is now housed in a trailer while construction is being completed on the clubhouse. Don’t fret, the inviting and comfortable environment, friendly service, and tasty food will easily make you forget you entered a trailer. The venue is a great place to stop by for a bite to eat or for a few drinks before or after a round.
