The Aviation Inn is a 2-star and 50-room hotel right outside of Nellis Air Force Base in North Las Vegas. Although visitor feedback may be on the down side, this no-frills lodging offers free WiFi and parking, complimentary coffee and tea in the lobby, has an outdoor pool and is relatively close to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway which is home to multiple tracks for motorsports racing. This includes Queen Rooms with two or one queen bed, and single-bed King Rooms. Room amenities include an en suite bathroom with a bath and shower combo, a desk and chair, as well as a microwave and mini-fridge that may come in handy for there’s no on-site dining.
Moreover, the rooms with a queen bed and sofa also feature a kitchenette with a small stove, sink, microwave and a bigger fridge. Free daily housekeeping is provided in all cases. And travellers with their four-legged counterparts are welcome at the Inn too, for a separate pet deposit.
