Attractions and Sightseeing
Situated in the downtown district of Boulder City, the Hoover Dam Museum presents the history of its namesake. The exhibits focus on the engineering and natural components of this massive dam that was built during the Great Depression. This magnificent infrastructure is located approximately 10 miles away from the city. A scenic drive along the Great Basin Highway connects the dam with the downtown area. The much larger and busier McCarran International Airport is only a short drive away from this scenic city.
