Tours and Features

The Carroll Shelby Museum occupies a warehouse-type setting with an open layout that's easy to navigate. You don't need to make any reservations for the free guided tours of the facility's signature vehicles. Most of the exhibits are installed in a chronological order to highlight the evolution of the legendary performance cars that have been manufactured by the Shelby brand. For example, you'll see some of the earliest Cobra models that hit the global markets in the 1960s. The GT 350 and GT 500 are some of the other notable models that are featured in the museum. The walls in this venue are covered with historic photographs of Carroll Shelby and his other partners throughout the years. Of course, some of the images celebrate major victories and other accomplishments in major racing competitions. Vintage installations from gas stations and restaurants add some cool appeal to the galleries at this specialty auto museum. If you're a fan of the Shelby American company, check out the on-site gift shop that sells apparel, accessories and decorative items for homes and cars. Decals, magnets, diecast models and tailgating equipment are some of the most popular products at the store. After buying some souvenirs, you could shop for exclusive auto parts that are designed for limited editions of Ford Mustang models and other sports cars. After all, Shelby American continues to manufacture custom parts for some of the most recognizable high-performance cars in the world. The dealers at the facility also specialize in restoring vintage models that were once common on American roads.
