Background and HistoryDanny Koker established Count's Kustoms as a small venture in the growing niche of automotive restoration. Hailing from Detroit, he was heavily influenced by the tremendous auto manufacturing industry of the city. However, the rapid decline of Motor City forced Koker and many other similar enthusiasts to seek new grounds in the United States. As a young adult, Koker repaired, updated and modified his own cars and motorcycles. After settling down in Las Vegas, he made plenty of new friends and business partners with great interests in the restoration of classic cars and bikes. The small body shop has gained international attention with the airing of the Counting Cars show. Giving Koker the recognition he has always deserved, this TV series premiered in the summer of 2012. By the summer of 2018, the reality show entered its eighth season. The show typically features various restoration projects that are done by the experts at Count's Kustoms. There is a strong emphasis on the custom parts and meticulous hand-crafted processes that are used to restore muscle cars and choppers to their full glory. Throughout the seasons, Counting Cars has featured several regular cast members who run the daily operations at the shop. Manager Scott Jones and long-time friend Kevin Mack help Danny Koker stay on track on the latest projects.
