Extended Stay America - Las Vegas – Midtown is a 2-star hotel near medical centres, the Las Vegas Country Club golf course and the popular Las Vegas Convention Center. Like other ESA properties, this one is also designed with longer stays in mind, featuring studio suites with a fully-equipped kitchen. Like most hotels, the ESA also has a 24-hour front desk, although you won’t get practically any of the amenities common to Sin City resorts like a pool, casino or restaurant. It is, however, a good place for the more budget-minded travellers who will have an option to cook their own food without paying a resort fee.
The Extended Stay America has just over 120 non-smoking suites with one or two beds, including accessible rooms. Pet-friendly rooms are available too, making space for up to two four-legged friends for a non-refundable cleaning fee that’s paid daily. Unfortunately, extra beds are not allowed. Housekeeping services are provided weekly as well, including dusting, vacuuming, changing linens and towels, emptying trash, cleaning of bathroom and kitchen, and replenishing soap and toilet paper if needed.
All of the rooms look the same with classic décor and furniture like a desk and ergonomic chair. They also have free WiFi, a flat-screen TV and, just as importantly, a full kitchen with a refrigerator, stovetop, microwave, coffee maker, cooking utensils, dishes, and cutlery. American or continental breakfast is not an option at this no-frills hotel, although you will get breakfast bars, muffins, hot cereal, coffee and tea as part of their free grab-and-go breakfast. There’s also Denny’s practically next door.
Unlike Extended Stay America - Las Vegas - Valley View, this Midtown property doesn’t have an outdoor pool or fitness centre, not to mention a casino. But, parking is free of charge and both Downtown and the Strip are about 10-minutes’ drive away.
