Jockey Club Las Vegas

Jockey Club is an all-suite, 3-star hotel located on the Las Vegas Strip, between Bellagio, ARIA and CityCenter. It has a long history as a condominium resort which dates back to 1974. While it doesn’t charge resort fees, it also doesn’t have much going on in terms of hotel amenities. However, if it’s the home away from home that you’re after, right in the centre of the Strip, then look no further than Jockey Club.
Renovated in 2011, the two towers, the Ascot Tower and the Derby Tower, house at total of 270 suites, all of which are timeshare units and most still whole ownerships. This includes one- and two-bedroom suites as well as studios, including accessible features, and they sleep up to 6 guests.
The suites have fully equipped kitchens with a microwave and stove, as well as a dining and separate living area with a queen-size sofa, free WiFi and satellite TV. Laundry facilities can be found at the hotel too, so it’s a perfect match for anymore looking to stay in Las Vegas for longer.
There’s no on-site breakfast or restaurant per se, but Jockey Club does offer freshly popped popcorn and brewed coffee throughout the day. That’s in addition to a full access to their outdoor swimming pool and health club with sauna and hot tub.
Among other things, the hotel also has a special Winner Circle Lending Library, where guests can lend DVDs, games, books and magazines.
The neighbouring hotel, the Cosmopolitan which opened December 15, 2010, offers other extras like a 70,000-sq-foot casino, restaurants, shops, rooftop pools, tennis courts and entertainment venues. Some of them are available for free to Jockey Club guests too. And that’s in addition to the Planet Hollywood, Paris and Bally’s right across the street for added fun and adventure.
