Lucky Dragon Hotel

Lucky Dragon Hotel is a 4-star hotel situated between Hilton Grand Vacations and The STRAT Hotel Casino & SkyPod, opposite SLS Las Vegas. Opened in December 2016, it caters to both guests throughout Asia as well as English-speaking travellers. The casino and Asian restaurant are yet to be opened as of summer 2018, but you do get a small outdoor lounge area with a swimming pool as well as a Feng Shui designed tea garden/lounge. Having adjusted their rates accordingly, they may well have turned this accommodation into a bargain.
There are 203 guestrooms and suites arranged over 9 floors, including smoking and non-smoking options. They range 369-612 sq feet in size and feature floor-to-ceiling windows with beautiful views of the Las Vegas Strip.
The nightly resort fee includes WiFi, which complements other room amenities like a flat-screen TV, working area with an ergonomic office chair, complimentary tea, as well as Sothys bath amenities, bathrobes and slippers. Upgrade to a suite for a pillow menu and stunning panoramic views.
Breakfast is free but based on feedback it pays to have low expectations. Until their on-site restaurant is under construction/renovation, you can relax in their indoor/outdoor tea garden and lounge area, Cha Garden. It also offers views of their outdoor swimming pool area with loungers and cabanas where you can also take time off.
The hotel is located in a more reserved neighbourhood at the north end of the Strip, so you’d need some type of transportation to get to the hustle and bustle of the centre Strip, at least to have the energy for all the shopping and entertainment that you’ll find there. Here, you can count on both on-site valet and self-parking, as well as paid shuttle services within a 25-mile radius, including airport drop-offs. The SLS Station for the Monorail is within walking distance as well.
