Terminals
Terminal 1 at McCarran International Airport is exclusively used by domestic airlines. The A, B and C gates have satellite layouts that extend from the main terminal building. Featuring the E gates, Terminal 3 at LAS is primarily used to handle international flights. Both terminal buildings also offer access to the D gates, which are located in a satellite-shaped complex. It's important for passengers to realize that Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 are not directly connected by any walkways or tunnels. Located at Terminal 1, the Howard W. Cannon Aviation Museum features exhibits on air travel in the Las Vegas region and other parts of Nevada. Multimedia presentations and dozens of fixed galleries are set up in this museum that's open on a 24/7 schedule. Terminal 1 also offers plenty of shopping options, such as Tentation, Brighton Collectibles, Harley-Davidson and Hudson News. Some of the terminal's dining venues include the Layover Bar, Bud 29 Track Lounge, Flatbreadz and Burger King. Food options at Terminal 3 include Ciao Gourmet Market, La Tapenade Mediterranean, PGA Tour Grill and Village Pub. This terminal also has several stores, like Apricot Lane, Interluxe, Michael Kors and Welcome to Las Vegas. Both terminal buildings include the Ethel M Chocolates store that sells premium chocolate and candy. This acclaimed brand has deep roots in the Las Vegas metropolitan area.Ground Transportation
McCarran International Airport has an automated people mover that provides convenient ground transportation. The Green Line takes passengers between Terminal 1 and the C gates. The Red Line links passengers between Terminal 3 and the D gates. The Blue Line connects Terminal 1 with the D gates. You can also ride a free shuttle bus between Terminal 1 and Terminal 3. The shuttle stops are located on the Level Zero of each facility. The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada offers public transit at the airport. Routes 108 and 109 of the RTC system stop near Terminal 1, and the WAX and CX lines stop at Terminal 3. Some of the hotels and resorts on the Las Vegas Strip offer shuttle and limousine services for passengers using LAS. More than 10 taxi companies also provide reliable ground transportation at this major airport. If you want to rent a car, you'll need to travel a few miles south of the airport's grounds. Located on Gilepsie Street, the Rent-a-Car Center offers a huge selection of vehicles by more than 10 firms.
