Spanning more than 640 miles, U.S. Route 95 accommodates traffic between Las Vegas and Reno. Considered a regional highway, Interstate 580 directly connects Carson City and Reno. Located in Las Vegas, McCarran International Airport (LAS) is the busiest commercial airport in Nevada. This airport is an important hub for several domestic low-cost carriers, such as Southwest Airlines and Frontier Airlines. Located just outside of the city's downtown district, Reno-Tahoe International Airport (RNO) is the state's second busiest airport. This regional airport offers direct flights to more than a dozen domestic destinations. A direct flight from RNO to LAS normally takes approximately one hour.
