The D Las VegasThe D Las Vegas is a 3-star gaming hotel right at the east entrance to the Fremont Street Experience. The hotel has an energetic vibe to it, which is accentuated with its dancing servers and flair bartenders, as well as a two-level casino and over 600 rooms and suites that were remodelled in 2012. It’s a popular option to consider when choosing a leisure-type resort in Old Vegas, unless you’re after bigger pools or something more serene and away from the hustle and bustle of the pedestrian promenade.
Rising 34-stories high, the hotel has 629 guestrooms in total, including King, Double Queen and premium Corner King rooms, as well as two different suites with upgraded amenities and sweeping views. Interconnected rooms are available as well, however, canine companions are not allowed.
Some standard room amenities include free WiFi and a flat-screen TV, Bath and Body Works products (L’Occitane in suites), laptop safe and ironing facilities. On-site dry-cleaning service is provided for additional comfort as well.
The D doesn’t serve free breakfast, but they have a popular restaurant The D Grill, which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. And that’s in addition to Joe Vicari's Andiamo Italian Steakhouse with classic Italian favourites, and quick eats like McDonald's and hot dogs from American Coney Island.
As a gaming hotel, The D Las Vegas also has a two-storey casino with slots, table games, keno and William Hill Sports Book, mixed with gorgeous Dancing Dealers and the Club One players club experience. They also offer nightly entertainment, have a relatively small outdoor pool and hot tub, and a 24-hour fitness centre that’s also been renovated to include “top of the line equipment including free weights, exercise balls, treadmills, ellipticals, a stationary bike and a multi-purpose workout station”.
To help you explore the surrounding attractions, the resort also has a ticket service where you can grab tickets to their own live shows and events as well as the nearby The Mob Museum and Zip-lining.
