Travelodge Las Vegas Center Strip is a hostel-type discount hotel which is within a half mile of Planet Hollywood, Treasure Island, New York-New York, Mirage, and Caesars Palace. However, it does have luxuries of a hotel, including free continental breakfast and in-room coffee makers, as well as an outdoor swimming pool with poolside cabanas. So, if you’re not flexible with dates and are looking for something cheaper near major Las Vegas casinos and attractions, then this Travelodge would be a safe choice mainly for couples and solo travellers.
Featuring 126 exterior-corridor rooms which were remodelled in 2011, the room choice includes suites and poolside views, and both smoking and non-smoking options. The rooms sleep up to 5 people if counting cribs, and feature one king bed or two double beds. En suite bathrooms with a shower and tub combo area are included in all guest rooms too.
Room amenities also include free WiFi, a flat-screen TV, tea and coffee maker, a desk with chair and in-room safe. Cribs are available on request too, whereas the hotel also has an on-site laundry facility but no dry cleaning.
Breakfast is basic and includes coffee and tea, juice, fresh fruit, cereal, some pastries and spreads. There’s no restaurant or bar at the property, however that shouldn’t be a problem given its central location that’s surrounded with entertainment and dining options.
The Travelodge also features an outdoor swimming pool with cabanas, and a computer area with a printer but no fitness centre. For snacks and drinks there’s also a sundries/mart.
Finally, this central Las Vegas hotel also features free parking and has a 24-hour reception but no concierge service like you’d get at the more luxurious properties nearby.
