Packages and ServicesRated at 1,000 hp, an enormous electric motor propels the rotors at Vegas Indoor Skydiving wind tunnel. When it reaches maximum operational speed, the motor might generate wind gusts of up to 120 MPH. The Learn To Fly package is ideal for beginners at this awesome facility. When you purchase this package, you'll have up to 2 minutes to defy gravity and enjoy some temporary aerial superpowers. If you want a little more time in the air, sign up for the Fly For 5 pass, which lasts 6 minutes. Up to five people can simultaneously enter the wind tunnel with the 10 Minute Flight package. The 20 Minute Flight package allows 10 individuals to enter the wind tunnel. Larger groups should sign up for flight times that last 30 minutes or an hour. Every package includes equipment rental, personalized safety training and flying instructions by professionals. Video recordings and photography services are also available upon request. The venue accepts reservations for private events, such as birthday parties for children, bachelor bashes and corporate team-building activities. Bottled water, private hosts and action photos are included in some of the party packages.
Rules and RegulationsVegas Indoor Skydiving has set up some precise guidelines that are primarily based on basic aerodynamics. People within a certain height range must meet the corresponding weight ranges in order to fly successfully. For example, a man who is 6 feet tall must weigh less than 230 pounds to gain entry. A woman of the same height must weigh less than 190 pounds to qualify for participation. Such parameters are calculated based on the center of gravity of a person. If an individual exceeds the maximum weight, he or she won't generate enough aerodynamic lift in the wind tunnel. Kids are allowed to fly at this facility, but there is a minimum weight policy of 40 pounds. Children must also complete brief safety courses under the supervision of their parents of legal guardians. Similarly, adults are required to take the appropriate training before entering the wind tunnel. It's important for all participants to understand some hand gestures and other signals for safety reasons. Of course, the instructors also provide detailed overviews on correct flying techniques. The walls of the wind tunnel are heavily padded with soft materials and compressed air. Participants are also required to wear safety goggles that prevent eye injuries from strong wind gusts and airborne particles. Click to buy your Las Vegas monorail pass.
